Holi

The festival of colors, timed to the full moon (Purnima) of the lunar month of Phalguna.

Basis
Lunar (Phalguna Purnima)
Typical window
Early-to-mid March

Holi falls on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Hindu lunar month of Phalguna, and traditionally spans two days — Holika Dahan (a bonfire the evening before) followed by the color-throwing celebration itself.

Because it's tied to a lunar tithi rather than a fixed solar date, Holi's Gregorian date shifts year to year, generally landing between late February and late March.
