Colors by Direction
Vastu traditionally associates specific colors with each cardinal direction and its ruling element.
Traditional Vastu associates colors with directions based on elemental rulership: white or light blue for the north (water element), red or orange for the southeast (fire), yellow or brown for the southwest (earth), and white for the northwest (air), among others — used as a guide for room color choices in different parts of a home.
